We gather PI on certain areas of the Site, such as when you provide your name and email address under the ‘Contact Us’ section.
We may perform consulting services for clients, during which we may be given access to PI of such clients or their affiliates, customers or contractors (“Clients’ PI”). We do not disclose clients’ data, including Clients’ PI, to any third parties without the express consent of the client. Our employees and subcontractors are required to enter into written agreements to keep all such data confidential. We will collect and process any Clients’ PI only as instructed by the client and in accordance with this Policy, procedures, applicable laws and regulations.
The information may consist of items that you provide, such as names, e-mail addresses, telephone numbers and fax numbers. In addition, we collect certain information that you do not visibly enter, such as your IP address, browsing pattern on the Site, clickstream, and the status of cookies deployed on your computer to deliver relevant content to you and measure or understand the effectiveness of the content we serve to you.
We primarily use your PI for our legitimate interests, such as, to resolve your queries, to render customer care and support, to study how clients use our service and engage with our content, to develop our service, to grow our business and to inform our marketing strategy. The information may be kept stored on our or our affiliates’ or service providers’ databases for such purposes
We do not intentionally disclose or transfer your PI to third parties (i.e., persons or entities that are not affiliates of GemCorp Recycling & Technologies Private Limited). We also employ reasonable measures to protect your PI to prevent any unauthorized or accidental disclosure of your PI to third parties. Transfer of your PI to third parties is subject only to the following exceptions: a) if such disclosure is required by applicable laws, rules, or regulations; b) as appropriate for us to make
transmissions to you; c) in accordance with a consent made by you; d) in response to inquiries by bonafide rights owners in connection with allegations of infringement of copyright or other proprietary rights; or e) to our agents, associates or service providers and affiliates who assist us in providing or marketing our products or services or those of our affiliates. We do not control the purposes for which third parties may use your PI.
Your data, including personal information, may be transmitted to computers placed outside of your residing province, country, state or other government jurisdictions where data protection policies and laws may vary from your own jurisdiction.
If you reside outside of Indian territory and consent to share information with us, please mind that we might retain the information, including personal identifiable data in India for processing it. Your agreement to our Policy pertaining to submission of your information shall be construed as your consent to transfer of your data, if any. We do not transfer your PI to any country or an organization unless they have proper security controls to ensure the security of your personal information and related data.
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your PI from being accidentally leaked, used or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your PI to those employees, agents etc. who have a business need to know and these employees, agents etc. are subject to a duty of confidentiality. We will cooperate with relevant authorities to resolve any complaints and disputes arising in connection with this Policy. We will thoroughly investigate any reported complaints of violations of this Policy and will take prompt remedial action where violations are found. Dispute resolution provisions in our clients’ contracts will be followed.
Users of the Site should be aware that links to other Internet sites may be available on the site. If a user leaves the Site and goes to another site, users should be aware that those sites have different privacy policies that fall outside the scope of this Policy. We are not responsible for, and expressly disclaims any and all liability related to, actions of such linked sites, their privacy policies or the content of such sites. This Policy applies solely to information collected by our Site.
